InnovPrecMed Team at the IVAP 2025 Workshop in Kraków

Last week, the InnovPrecMed team participated in the IVAP 2025 Workshop in Kraków, an important event bringing together higher education institutions, project consortia, and innovation stakeholders from across Europe. The workshop, organised within the framework of the EIT HEI Initiative, served as a dynamic platform for sharing knowledge, building partnerships, and exploring new approaches to strengthening innovation capacity in academia.

On behalf of InnovPrecMed, Project Lead Andrew David Miller joined the workshop, representing both the entire InnovPrecMed consortium and Mendel University in Brno. He was accompanied by key consortium partners: Conny Schneider representing the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft, Jaroslaw Jacak representing Fachhochschule Oberösterreich, and Witold Jacak representing Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Their joint participation ensured strong representation of the project’s diverse expertise and institutional backgrounds.

For InnovPrecMed, joining the IVAP Workshop offered a valuable opportunity to connect with other EIT HEI projects, exchange experiences, and gain insights into best practices that can further support innovation and technology transfer across our consortium. The event also enabled us to strengthen our visibility within the wider European innovation community and explore potential collaborations that can enhance the impact of our project activities.

We are grateful to the organisers and fellow participants for the inspiring discussions and welcoming atmosphere. The knowledge and connections gained during the workshop will contribute to the continued development of InnovPrecMed and its mission to advance innovation and precision medicine education.
