Startup MendelFOLD nominated for Falling Walls Venture

We are proud to share that MendelFOLD, a startup connected with researchers from Mendel University in Brno and supported through the InnovPrecMed project, has been featured by the EIT Higher Education Initiative and nominated for the Falling Walls Venture!

MendelFOLD focuses on one of the major challenges in modern bio

logy – understanding how proteins fold and function. By combining genetic principles with advanced molecular simulations, the team aims to better understand biological processes at the atomic level and contribute to future developments in synthetic biology and next-generation therapeutics.

Through the InnovPrecMed project, supported by EIT Health, the team strengthened its IP strategy, established valuable partnerships, and further developed the pathway from scientific research towards future application.
