Visit to the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Traumatology

The InnovPrecMed team from Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU) recently had the pleasure of visiting our project partner, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Traumatology.

We were warmly welcomed and engaged in insightful discussions focused on strengthening our collaboration in technology transfer and developing future joint activities within the InnovPrecMed project and beyond. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore new research directions, and define concrete next steps to further advance our partnership.

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Traumatology (LBI Trauma) is a leading Austrian research centre dedicated to developing advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and regenerative approaches that support the full recovery of trauma patients. Through a strong interdisciplinary focus, the institute connects basic biomedical, translational and clinical research, integrating innovative precision medicine solutions into practice. LBI Trauma brings together more than 80 experts from fields such as chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, physics and engineering. In close collaboration with AUVA trauma hospitals, research institutions and industry partners, the institute bridges science and application, fostering both medical innovation and real-world impact.

We are excited to build on this collaboration within InnovPrecMed, advancing shared goals and creating meaningful outcomes for the future of precision medicine.
